2026 Summer Camp Lineup

1. Instrument Explorers

Not sure which instrument is right for your child?

Instrument Explorers is the perfect starting point for kids who have never taken music lessons before.

Throughout the week, campers will try a different instrument each day, including piano, guitar, drums, and more. This hands-on approach allows students to experience how each instrument feels and sounds, without pressure or commitment. Since Westmont Music Academy offers lessons on nearly every instrument, this camp gives children a fun, low-stress way to discover what excites them most.

By the end of the week, most campers leave with a clear favorite and a new confidence in music.

The camp is designed to be engaging, encouraging, and fun for beginners of all experience levels.

Bonus: Families who enroll in regular lessons after the camp will receive a free lesson book and waived registration fee.

2. Piano Camp

Our Beginner Piano Camp is the perfect introduction to music for children who are new to the piano.

Designed for young students, this camp creates a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment where kids can learn real piano skills while enjoying the process.

Campers will learn the fundamentals of piano playing, including proper posture and hand position, basic note reading, rhythm, finger coordination, and simple melodies—all taught in a clear, age-appropriate way. Lessons are reinforced through piano games, rhythm activities, and creative musical projects that keep students engaged and excited to learn.

By the end of the camp, students will be able to play several familiar songs and feel proud of their progress. Most importantly, they leave with increased confidence and enthusiasm to continue their musical journey.

Bonus: Families who enroll in regular piano lessons after the camp will receive a free lesson book and waived registration fee.

3. Ukulele Camp

Our Ukulele Camp is a fun and approachable option for both beginner and early intermediate students.

With its small size and easy playability, the ukulele is a great first instrument—and this camp helps students build skills while enjoying immediate success.

Campers will learn essential ukulele fundamentals including proper playing posture, tuning, single-note melodies, basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple instrument care. Instruction is hands-on and encouraging, allowing students to quickly start playing recognizable songs while developing strong foundational skills.

By the end of the camp, beginners will have a solid understanding of ukulele basics and a small collection of popular songs they can confidently play. More experienced students will refine technique and improve fluency—all while having fun and making music with others.

Bonus: Instruments are provided during camp, and students who enroll in ongoing ukulele lessons afterward will get to keep their instrument.

4.Bucket Drumline Camp
